Our Founders

Joe & Amy Horton founded Catherine’s Cribs to ensure infant children are provided with a safe environment to sleep. Catherine’s Cribs, named in honor of our mother, Cathy Horton.

Joe Horton is a Veteran that served in the United States Marine Corp and is a retired Columbus Police Officer. Joe grew up on the Columbus Westside and proudly serves with the Grove City Rotary Club.

“My worst day as a Police Officer, was walking in to find a dead infant. The one key factor every time was no baby crib. The baby was sleeping in bed with the mother, on the floor or in a basket of clothes when the tragedy occurred.”          ~ Joe
